What’s an IPN? And Why Does It Matter?

Your International Performer Number (IPN) is a unique global identifier that links you to your performances on sound recordings and audio-visual works. Issued when you register with ACTRA RACS, your IPN helps ensure you’re properly credited and fairly paid—at home and internationally. Any time you perform, whether recording music or acting in a film, share it with producers or engineers so it can be added to the metadata.

We work in collaboration with other members of the SCAPR community to maintain and exchange this information, making sure your rights are recognized across borders.

This small step makes a big difference: it ensures your work is properly tracked and you get the royalties you deserve.
