CELEBRATING ACTRA RACS MEMBERS @ THE ECMA’s

Our members shone at the 2023 East Coast Music Awards in Halifax with 9 wins and 40 nominations!  ACTRA RACS sponsored the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, which was won by JRDN (pictured).  In addition, members Natalie MacMaster and Rawlins Cross received special honourary awards:  Director’s Special Achievement (MacMaster) and Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award (Rawlins Cross).  Congratulations to all the artists on their awards and nominations! 

At the conference, ACTRA RACS staff, Bonnie Fedrau, and ACTRA RACS member, Andrea England, shared their insight on copyright royalties on the panel Rights and Royalties In The Digital Age.

No music conference is complete with lots of live music and many of our members filled the east coast air with their talents.
